Has overheating issue due to Mazda being pants on head idiotic with the coolant routing in the B6 engines, so I’ll need a $130 coolant reroute kit, or go without AC. Got some I get coolers to put on and my waste gate gets here today. Once those parts are on I should be able to see what it’ll really do. Silly turbo boosts so fast I haven’t gone over 30% throttle since the car pings above 7psi.
Got these intercoolers for free. They’re from the same kind of car my turbo is, a Mitsubishi 3000gt vr4. Hopefully I can find a place to mount them and get my IATs down a bit.

The car looks quite nice in all oneish color now. What is that subwoofer in the trunk? I don’t think that's the Miata trunk though lol.

That’s the Riviera trunk. MTX Blue Thunder 10" in some crappy Amazon box. It’s small but it can do work. I’m replacing it with my Thunder 7500 15" in another crappy Amazon box, at which point I’ll tidy up that awful wiring mess and get it all moved out of the way. Need to find a place to bolt the box down in the trunk so it doesn’t slide about.

Oh man, 15 inches is huge! I have used that shelving mount hardware (the somewhat bendable kind that comes in a roll). That worked pretty well with some holes drilled into the floor of the trunk in my Civic. Then the amp mounted onto the backseat to save space. I was never clean with wiring but just shoving it all under the carpet makes it look tidy at least lol.
